A small traditional wooden Buddhist temple structure stands on a stone-edged platform in a gravel courtyard at the historic Kita-in temple precinct in Kawagoe, Saitama. Mature trees, dappled daylight, curved roof tiles, latticed panels, and red and gold doors create a detailed architectural scene.
Story
Captured on 15 October 2008, the panorama presents a straight-on view of a traditional wooden structure set within a gravel-covered courtyard. Gray curved roof tiles, a rounded roof finial, latticed wall panels, and red and gold entrance doors stand out against mature foliage and strong dappled daylight. The GPS location places the scene at the successive chief priests' cemetery area in the Kita-in Buddhist temple precinct in Kawagoe.
