A sharply pointed, snow-covered mountain rises above layered rocky and glaciated terrain in this high-alpine view from Gornergrat near Hohtälli. Low cloud crosses the lower slopes, while thin wispy clouds and a faint crescent moon appear in the blue sky. Captured in summer at approximately 3,106 metres above Zermatt, Switzerland.
