Description
A wide panoramic view of St. Johann in Ranui chapel standing in an open meadow near St. Magdalena in the Funes Valley. The historic-looking chapel, stone terrace, wooded hillsides and distant rocky mountain create a detailed South Tyrol landscape scene beneath partly cloudy skies.
Story
The chapel has a pale decorated facade, reddish-brown trim, a dark wooden entrance and a tall onion-shaped steeple topped with a cross. A low stone wall and steps lead through the foreground, while wooden fences, scattered rural buildings, forested hillsides and a partly cloudy mountain backdrop extend across the scene. Captured in October 2015, the image presents a detailed rural landscape in northern Italy.
