Story
Captured on 15 October 2009, the image looks along Streda Rezia near Cafe Adler in Ortisei, also called Urtijëi or St. Ulrich in Gröden. A yellow building with white trim and a pale pink building create strong architectural framing, while a wrought-iron hanging sign, tiled roofs, balconies, and a stone balustrade add local town detail. The paved street leads toward forested hills and a pale rocky mountain ridge in the distance. The bright autumn light and shaded foreground give the panoramic travel photograph strong depth and contrast.
